NEW Sheep's Wool Insulation
Hales of Drybrook are now suppliers of
Black Mountain Wool
Insulation: designed for use in new and existing buildings within the
loft, rafter, internal wall and for inter-floor. Better for the environment
and your home, wool insulation is not only breathable, but is also able to
absorb, retain and release moisture without affecting its thermal properties
or performance. The manufacture of Black Mountain insulation requires 90%
less energy than mineral wool insulation. Wool absorbs and permanently locks
up toxic gases emitted by many building materials. |

Wood Burning Stoves
Hales of Drybrook are suppliers of
AGA,
ESSE,
STOVAX (Including
DOVRE) and
BROSELEY wood burning stoves. New stoves have the latest clean-burn
technology to maximise the efficient use of energy and minimise the effect
on the environment. Using a wood burning stove offers a carbon neutral and
sustainable heat source – growing trees takes in carbon dioxide which is then
released when the wood rots or is burnt. |

Ecofans
The Caframo
Ecofan™ is a heat powered fan designed to circulate the warm air created
by a wood or gas stove. These fans do not use any batteries or mains power,
instead they have a thermoelectric module which acts as a small generator to
power the motor. When this generator module experiences a heat differential
between its top and bottom surfaces, it pumps out electricity. The base of
the fan heats the bottom surface of the module, while the top of the module
is kept cooler by the fan's top cooling fins.
